Interlibrary Loan requests are processed daily. The library receives most materials within 7-10 working days. Some difficult to locate items may take up to 6 weeks to receive.
Photocopies are mailed to the address registered on the patron's library account.
The copyright law of Canada (The Copyright Act and subsequent Bills) governs the use of copyrighted materials, including the making of photocopies and/or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Material provided by the Athabasca University Library to its users is in accordance with Canadian copyright law. If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes other than for research or private study, that user may be liable for copyright infringement. Athabasca University Interlibrary Library Loans Office reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order, if, in its judgement, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
